How many XFL players will end up getting signed to NFL rosters?

The XFL is over due to the concern with the coronavirus, but it was a huge success. The attendance was pretty impressive, the TV Ratings were up all the way through week 5 and the players were able to gain film.

The best thing about a new football league is the film they are able to obtain. Guys like PJ Walker, Cardale Jones and Jordan Ta’amu were all able to gain solid film that could potentially get them on an NFL roster.

With the season ending early the XFL should put a lot of players in the NFL. Being the season ended early this will allow players from the XFL to sign a futures contract with NFL teams. Remember NFL teams can sign 90 players during the off-season. This will be like the AAF last year. We tracked the AAF thanks to our writer Justin Berendzen and we will also be tracking the XFL signing to the NFL. There will be an ongoing tracker on our site, and I think we will see around 50 to 100 players get a shot with an NFL team. There are several solid players and with the coronavirus effecting pro days, many teams will take a player that they have watched and recently played against high talent than a player who played at a smaller school and does not have a forty on file.

I think this virus will mess up many things, but the XFL players should not be effected.
