XFL Fantasy Rankings: Ranking the best WR/TE units after week 4

Jalen Tolliver, DeAndre Goolsby and Dan Williams of the Tampa Bay Vipers are solid pass catchers in the XFL. Justin Berendzen of Draft Diamonds breaks down the pass catchers in the XFL.

1. Houston Roughnecks

I’m going to say this Cam Phillips had a bad week last week and the Roughnecks still are solid. Nick Holley was good last week and I think is the solid number 2 behind Phillips if Phillips gets defended well. And then they also have Sammie Coates who is not playing week 5 and Rhyeem Malone and Blake Jackson also as decent options.

2. LA Wildcats

Even though they lost last week the Wildcats wr core is good. And Nelson Spruce is injured. Tre McBride is a force and i don’t know if anyone can stop him. Then after Spruce and McBride they have Jordan Smallwood who has played well. And then they have Brandon Barnes at Te who has been good.

3. Tampa Bay Vipers

I’m going to say this that the Vipers and Wildcats are not that far apart. But I think that the Vipers need a third reliable WR to be up there. Dan Williams is a monster and is the Vipers number 1 reciever. Jalen Tolliver has shown that he is a decent number 2. And at TE they have Nick Truesdell who looks to be back week 5 and DeAndre Goolsby who has also played decent.

4. Saint Louis Battlehawks

From this point forward the recieving has been inconsistent. But the Battlehawks have De’Mornay Pierson El who has had 2 not so good games and 2 really good games as the number 1 wide receiver he has the ability. Just needs to be more consistent and the Battlehawks probably move up. Then behind Pierson El you have L’Damian Washington, Alonzo Russell and Keith Mumphery. They have the depth but Pierson El needs to be a consistent number 1. Then Marcus Lucas is the TE and keeps getting better.

5. Dallas Renegades

The Renegades have a good recieving core too. But no number 1 wide receiver that clearly has shown himself.  Flynn Nagel has been good but not number 1 good and was only good week 4. Jazz Ferguson and Jeff Badet are capable  but have not lived up to expectations at all. And then you have Donald Parham the unstoppable TE who should be in the NFL hands down. Parham is a total beast.

6. Seattle Dragons

Of the remaining teams the Dragons have been the most consistent. Austin Proehl has shown he is a good reciever. Keenan Reynolds and  Alonzo Moore are 2 other WRs who make up a decent set of recievers. Then at TE they have 3 guys but none have really shown that they are a clear number 1 and are really good.

7. DC Defenders

The Defenders have good recievers but have shown that they are not consistent. Rashad Ross has got good ability to be number 1 but has not been found. And Eli Rogers and DeAndre Thompkins have not played up to the standards that they should have. And Khari Lee is an okay TE but nothing special.

8. New York Guardians

The  Guardians have no consistent wr play at all and it’s all on the recievers too. Mekale McKay has really played very bad considering that the expectations were he would be number 1. Joe Horn has been the most consistent but has had some bad misplays. And Jake Powell and EJ Bibbs have decent ability at TE but are not stars either.
