AJ is the prototype X/Z receiver at the next level. Has the ideal height and weight, also has very good vertical speed that shows up on film, you can see he doesn’t have a problem separating from DB’s and is a hands catcher, does not allow many passes to touch his body. A great route runner who gets in and out of breaks with great quickness does round out routes many deep ones but doesn’t do it often to be a major concern. Play physical with and without the ball in his hands, he takes what he wants if he needs to be somewhere he’ll get there by going through you, also is a very willing blocker who will bully smaller DB’s.

Projection: Outside Receiver that plays the X or Z position. Scheme: Quick passing offense

Summary: Jelani “Aj” Greene has all the tools to be a day one starter. He has the size, speed, hands, and route running to be a very solid receiver in the league. You’ll get an all-round receiver who can do whatever you ask him to. But I think he fits best in a quick passing scheme that focuses on quick-hitting passes and with run after catch opportunities. This would play perfectly to his strengths. He will be a valuable weapon for anyone’s passing game.
