NFL Draft

North Carolina A&T will move out the MEAC to the Big South

Former North Carolina A&T Aggies Alumni Tarik Cohen has performed great since leaving college with the Chicago Bears.

The MEAC will lose the North Carolina A&T Aggies, and that will be a huge loss. NC A&T were founding members of the MEAC in 1971, and according to Eddie Wooten, the school will announce Friday it is leaving the conference for the Big South.

The Aggies’ bowling team would remain in the MEAC, but all other sports would move to the Big South effective July 1, 2021.

The Aggies have had a player drafted the last three years in a row. Tarik Cohen, Brandon Parker and Daryl Johnson were all drafted in the past three NFL Drafts. This move will be huge for the Aggies.
