Former Jerry Rice Award Finalist Alex Probert lands at Iowa State

Alex Probert lands at Iowa State after a fantastic junior season at Liberty.

Liberty Flames kicker Alex Probert entered the transfer portal and lands at Iowa State University.

In his junior year, Probert went 13-19 in field goal attemps, including a 51 yarder.

Probert was a Jerry Rice award finalist in freshman year for the top freshman FCS player in the country.

As a graduate transfer, Probert will be eligible to play immediately for Iowa State football in 2020.  The upcoming season will serve as the kicker’s final season of eligibility.
