Duke Football adds former Tulane defensive backs coach Chris Hampton
According to a report, Duke football has reportedly found their new cornerbacks coach.
FootballScoop.com reported on Monday that Tulane defensive backs coach Chris Hampton is set to become the new DB coach for Duke.
Hampton is replacing Derek Jones who left to become the CB’s coach at Texas Tech.
Hampton is a good dude and a hell of a coach. We was the Tulane coach that broke the NCAA record with 20 pass breakups in a huge win over East Carolina University in November.
Hampton had stints at McNeese State and Central Arkansas before joining Tulane, and he is a very impressive up and coming coach. Duke landed a stud for their secondary coach!
