As an athlete, what is your motivation?

My motivation is my daughter and my son, they keep me leveled, they push me to not only do better for myself but to do better for them.

What defines success for you?

Success for me is completing a goal that you set for yourself. Achieving what you put your mind to.

What would your teammates say about the type of teammate you are?

They would say I am energetic, I am tough and not afraid of anything. They will say I am a team player and leader who will do anything for the team with no hesitation.

What are some of your personal “rules” that you never break?

My number one rule is to never give up, no matter how hard it is, with God on my side I will accomplish it. I have been through so much that a temporary problem is not a factor for me. Another rule I never break is to always be always smiling because a smile can change your day, mood or for another and that’s the energy I like to give off.

Who is the toughest player you’ve competed against during your collegiate career?

Robert Heyward. I know he’s my teammate but he made me better, he was the toughest guy I have ever played against, no matter how hard I tried to run him over it is always a stalemate. He always brings the thump, he’s smart and takes really good angles to the ball, so therefore I also have to come with my A-game when it is competition period during practice.

Who is the best player in the NFL?

Lamar Jackson.

What is your team of choice on Madden, why?

Ravens, and it is not only because Lamar Jackson can scramble, I like Earl Thomas also because when I play defense I like to user control the safeties and he’s really good when it comes to interceptions and zone coverages.

Failure is inevitable in life. How do you handle situations that don’t go in your favor?

Where I come from and what I have seen and been through, failure is the least of my worries. In this world we live in you can’t accomplish anything without failure. I take failure as a lesson, either I have to work harder or go back to the drawing board and revise a new game plan.

Is there a current/former NFL player that you model your game after?

Marshawn Lynch. I love the way he runs with power and physicality, that you cannot touch me mentality is how I grew up playing football.

Knowing what you do now, what would you go back and tell yourself as a High-School Freshman?
