These five teams would be crazy not to attend Colin Kaepernick’s workout Saturday

Colin Kaepernick will get a shot to work out for NFL teams on Saturday, and while deep down inside I feel the NFL is not trying to help him at all, I do feel Kaepernick is going to shine in this workout. I wanted to focus on 5 teams that would be crazy not to send a scout to this workout. Let’s GO!

Miami Dolphins – Right now, the Dolphins are not set on their quarterback so they have nothing to lose by sending a scout to attend this workout. Ryan Fitzpatrick is a solid journeyman quarterback and Josh Rosen has not really developed. We do not know what Colin Kaepernick looks like but with all the minority owners in MIAMI, what can it hurt. I think they should definitely be there.

Los Angeles Chargers – Yes, Philip Rivers is old and he is not the same, they could use a quarterback and Tyrod or Easton Stick are probably not the answer. I could not imagine that backfield in LA with Gordon, Ekeler, Justin Jackson and Kaep. WOW, he would be embraced as well with Anthony Lynn as his head coach.

Carolina Panthers – The Panthers have Kyle Allen but if he gets hurt this year their back up is Will Grier, and they are shooting for the playoffs. If an injury occurs, I think he is a guy that gets a call. I know you can call me crazy, I think Carolina would embrace Kaep especially with Eric Reid and Riverboat Ron. J Cole is from Carolina and he is a huge supporter of Kaep, this is my final destination for him.

Chicago Bears – Bears do not have a Franchise QB in Mitch Trubisky, and I would not be shocked if they send a scout to check out Kaep. The fan base is getting fed up because they feel they should be better than they are, and Mitch is not getting it done. I think the Bears should send a scout I am just not sure if they will.

New England Patriots – They do not care about your feelings. They are the only team in the NFL that will not think twice about sending a scout there in my opinion. Shoot I would not be shocked if Nick Caserio is there. He knows talent and let’s face it Tom Brady is old. God forbid something happens to him they are left with Jarrett Stidham and Cody Kessler. Yep, the Patriots are definitely a viable option.

PREDICTION:

I feel that Kaepernick is going to work out for the teams and you will hear the narrative that he is rusty, he does not look good, he is this or that, but what I think happens is Karma. I think a quarterback will go down with an injury and the team will have playoffs on their mind and they will not be able to accomplish it with their quarterback. That is when the phone will ring and Kaepernick will get a shot to play. My prediction is the Carolina Panthers. I think it will be the best fit and I think they will be the team that gets him after Kyle Allen suffers and injury. I hope I am wrong, but we will see. I know one thing, he deserves a second chance.
