Is Cowboys QB Dak Prescott as good as Patriots QB Tom Brady?

Wait a minute here, is Dak Prescott a Tom Brady clone?

I know this question is crazy, but let’s look at why we are asking it. Today, Jerry Jones was asked by a radio host, Which former Cowboys quarterback does Dak Prescott remind you of? And Jerry’s answer was surprisng to many, but let’s look at the stats…..

“Oh, I think he’s neither. I really do,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan, referring to Romo and Troy Aikman. “I think he’s more like [Tom] Brady. Now, I’m not going to. . . .We know Tom Brady, and he’s no Tom Brady. I didn’t say that. But the point is he will evolve and is evolving into a guy that will beat you. He will beat you with different circumstances and different players and different type teams. He will be on teams that have better defense than others. He will be on teams that have better protection than others. I think we got us one in Dak.”

According to Pro Football Talk’s Charean Williams, Dak Prescott’s stats are pretty amazing in his first 52 games. Look at these stats.

Prescott has played 52 games. He is 35-17, completing 1,067 of 1,602 passes (66.6 percent) for 12,019 yards with 76 touchdowns and 28 interceptions.

In Brady’s first 52 starts, he went 40-12, completing 1,053 of 1,703 passes (61.8 percent) for 11,570 yards with 80 touchdowns and 43 interceptions.

Dak Prescott could be a Tom Brady of the future, why are we doubting him? Look at the stats, they do not lie. This is a great conversation, so I want to know something, could Dak be as good as Brady?
