College Gridiron Showcase: Five players that stood out in Week 8

Case Cookus, QB, NAUDraft Diamonds favorite FCS quarterback was chucking the ball around this week. Cookus finished 20-34 for 359 yards and had 4 passing touchdowns.

Joshua Kelley, RB, UCLA – The 5110 running back from Lancaster, California went off this week against Stanford. He carried the ball 18 times for 176 yards and scored once. The kid averaged 9.8 yards a carry, WOW!

Malik Stanley, WR, Louisiana Tech – Malik Stanley went bananas this week against Southern Miss. He finished the game with 212 yards receiving on 8 receptions and score once. His totals on the year doubled after this week’s performance.

Lucky Jackson, WR, Western Kentucky – It seems like WKU always has a stud wide out and this year that guy is Lucky Jackson. The Lexington, Kentucky native tore it up this week finishing with 5 receptions for 141 yards and 1 touchdown!

Evan Weaver, LB, California – This kid is playing out of his mind this year. He is already over 100 tackles on the season. He is standing at 105 total tackles already, averaging 15 tackles a game.
