Raiders didn’t need Antonio Brown, they looked good without him

Derek Carr looked amazing last night!

Over the past couple months the one team that really looked like they were going to fall into shambles was the Oakland Raiders. I mean they signed Vontaze Burfict and Richie Incognito, then throw in the trade with Antonio Brown and that’s a lot of drama in one locker room.

You honestly had to feel bad for Derek Carr and his football team after they lived out the HBO hard knocks tail after HBO left the facility. Antonio Brown made one of the biggest scenes ever in football just to get his way, and the Raiders and their fan base suffered for it. The Raiders were kind of the laughingstock or the ones getting picked on but last night the Broncos look bad.

The Oakland Raiders high-powered offense looked amazing Derek Carr was chucking the ball all around the field. Darren Waller the former Baltimore Raven had a great game seven catches for 70 yards, Josh Jacobs ran for two touchdowns and Tyrell Williams was an animal going over 100 yards and catching one touchdown pass.

Probably the most amazing part of the Raiders was they shut down Von Miller and Bradley Chubb who everyone claims are the two of the best pass rusher’s in the league.

Trent Brown the former New England Patriots offensive tackle looked the part and it look like a great investment after one week. The Raiders and the coaching staff pulled together a huge victory for their first home game, and what an amazing victory it was.

Another crazy thing was the Raiders had a leader on defense. He was pulling his Teammates back after an argument ensued on a punt, that was none other than Vontaze Burfict. The man that everybody calls the problem look like a great leader last night for the Raiders defense.

Nobody besides the faithful Raiders fans can honestly say they thought the Raiders were going to beat the Broncos last night. Derek Carr and Jon Gruden might be all right. I don’t believe they needed Antonio Brown.

It has to feel great to know that you just rid yourself of cancer. Ring the Bell Raiders fans!
