Dream Bowl Dominance: Week 2 players who caught the eye of the Dream Bowl

Roland Rivers is a kid we want at the Dream Bowl. He has been impressive and man did he have a big game this week!

The 8th Annual Dream Bowl will be played on January 20, 2019, and is one of the premier non-FBS football All-Star games in the Nation.  The Dream Bowl has seen multiple players drafted into the NFL from Chester Rogers to Tremon Smith.  This game has sent 100’s of players to the NFL, and we are excited to partner with them this year at NFL Draft Diamonds. We want to showcase and highlight several standouts from week 2 to let them know we are paying attention and watching their film!

Joe Kalosky, QB, Endicott – The 6020 gunslinger for Endicott had himself a game this week. The D3 quarterback has good size and speed, and this week he went 21-28 for 378 yards and 5 touchdowns. I am a fan of the Plymouth, Connecticut native, he is a solid prospect.

Dre’Sonte Dorton, WR, Eastern Washington – Eastern Washington does a good job at helping wide outs make it to the NFL.  Cooper Kupp, Kendrick Bourne and Nsimba Walker. Now add in Dre’Sonte Dorton, the 5100, 185 speed burner from Pasco, Washington who is tearing up the FCS right now. After two games he has 295 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns.

Justus Reed, DL, Youngstown State – Reed has been a force this year for the Penguins. The 6030, 250 pound Clearwater, Florida native has a knack for getting after the quarterback.  He is leading the FCS right now in sacks with 4.5 after just two games.  He is on pace to hit 20 plus sacks.  This kid is a force off the edge and he has perfect NFL size.

Nate Gunn, RB, Minnesota State – The big running back from Mankato is a stud. He finished the game this week with 242 rush yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. He is one of the best big backs in the NCAA. I feel Gunn will be on an NFL roster next year.

Damarquis Price, WR, Farleigh Dickinson – Last year Price hauled in 16 passes for 221 yards and scored 4 times, but this week the 6060 wide receiver blew up. In his first game this year he had 10 receptions for 225 yards and 3 touchdowns. I am a fan of the South Plainfield, New Jersey prospect, he is a huge target at the D3 level.

Roland Rivers, QB, Slippery Rock – The Slippery Rock quarterback put his team on his back this week and had a huge game. He finished the game with 467 total yards and 7 TDs. He threw 6 touchdown passes and had one rushing touchdown. Rivers is a kid I have on my radar and I hope he will consider the Dream Bowl!

Hunter Watts, OT, Central Arkansas – Don’t make me put this kid on my list every week. I want Hunter Watts at my game, he is one of the best small-school offensive linemen in the entire country. I know NFL teams are paying attention and they should be because he has been dominating two weeks in a row.
