Wisconsin WR Quintez Cephus has been cleared to return after being acquitted of sexual assault
Quintez Cephus is back!
The former Wisconsin receiver Quintez Cephus has been cleared to return to school and the football team after a jury acquitted him of sexual assault charges.
On Monday, University of Wisconsin-Madison Chancellor Rebecca Blank announced the decision to reinstate Cephus.
Cephus was suspended from the football team in August of 2018 after he was charged. He was expelled from the University earlier this year for violating it’s non-academic policies. A jury acquitted him of the charges on August 2nd.
