CUTTING EDGE SPORTS MANAGEMENT TO PARTNER WITH NFL DRAFT DIAMONDS FOR HBCU-DREAM BOWL WEEKEND IN 2020

Milltown, NJ — Cutting Edge Sports Management, hosts of the HBCU-Dream Bowl Weekend, and NFL Draft Diamonds are pleased to announce a strategic partnership for this year’s football weekend scheduled to be played over Dr. Martin Luther King Weekend in Virginia’s Blue Ridge from January 16 -20, 2020.

The 4th annual HBCU Spirit of America Bowl will be played on January 19, 2019, in Salem, Virginia at Salem Stadium as part of the Weekend. The Spirit of America Bowl is the only HBCU college football all-star game in the country. In its first year, the HBCU Spirit of America Bowl saw Jylan Ware of Alabama State become a 7th round draft pick of the Oakland Raiders.

The 8th annual Dream Bowl, to be played January 20, 2019, is the premier non-FBS college football all-star game in the nation.  The Dream Bowl has seen multiple players drafted including Grambling WR Chester Rogers (Colts), and Central Arkansas CB Tremon Smith (Chiefs).  The Dream Bowl has also sent over 100 players to NFL camps, with other former players on rosters in the CFL, Europe, and Arena Leagues. The weekend will allow the best athletes to showcase their talents for the chance to play professionally at the next level with many NFL and CFL scouts in attendance.  The games and the series of events held throughout the weekend are a celebration of the excellence, commitment, and sacrifice made by the players and their families.
