Tennessee Vols defensive back arrested after threatening girlfriend and saying he would shoot up the school

Vols DB Bryce Thompson was arrested after threatening his girlfriend and saying he would shoot up the school.

Tennessee Vols will be down a defensive back after Bryce Thompson their star cornerback was arrested and charged for a misdemeanor domestic assault and was jailed.

Thompson played in 11 games and recorded 32 total tackles and three interceptions.

The incident occurred at Stokely Hall at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, according to court documents.

Witnesses told police that Thompson told the woman he would “slap” her.  Others said they heard him say he would “shoot up the school”. Thompson denied the threats though.

The argument started with his girlfriend after he found out she had fake eyelashes. Thompson was jailed and released on 3,000 bond. He is due in court on September 3rd.
