The five most underrated players in the NFL

Desmond King is super underrated and to me is one of the best defensive backs in the entire NFL. I would take him on my team over many of the top rated defensive backs.

I love the NFL and I love underdogs, but when a player is underrated I love it. There are so many great players in the NFL, but there are so many studs who are overlooked. I wanted to talk about five players that I feel are the most underrated players in the league. Let’s talk about it, I want you to share with me on Twitter, who you feel is the most underrated.

5.) Desmond King, DB, Los Angeles Chargers – This guy does it all, he is always around the ball and finds a way to score when he gets his hands on the ball. I feel as a return man he is one of the premier returners in the game, add in the fact that he is a force on the field in the secondary and what do you have? A super underrated player who does not get enough attention. This kid is special and has proven in the last two years.

4.) Danielle Hunter, DL, Minnesota Vikings – People want to talk about Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack, but Hunter is a force off the edge. Hunter has become one of the premier pass rushers in the NFL, and I bet if you asked 10 fans who he was, 4 would not know. That is crazy to me, especially when you add in the fact that he had 14.5 sacks last season. Hunter is a stud, and I feel he will continue to be a sack machine this season.

3.) Kenny Golladay, WR, Detroit Lions – When you think of all the wide outs in the NFL, Golladay is never mentioned, but he guy is one of the best underrated players in the entire NFL. This kid makes plays on top of plays. He will continue and end up getting a huge pay day. Last season he had 19 plays over 20 yards, and 5 touchdowns. Expect him to double the touchdowns this season.

2.) Alejandro Villanueva, OT, Pittsburgh Steelers – Villanueva’s been as steady as they come at the position and hasn’t had a single below-average grade in pass protection in any game this past year. Remember this guy walked on to play the game. He fought for our country then landed a starting OT position. Are you kidding me? Yet, we do not talk about him much.

1.) Tre’Davious White, CB, Buffalo Bills – The kid is never mentioned by any media outlets. They write him off every year it feels, and he plays lights out. White is one of the top up coming cornerbacks in the NFL and is not given credit for his play. White reminds me of Casey Hayward, a consistent player who does not get the recognition they deserve. He will have a huge season in 2019.
