Today is the Supplemental Draft and it will begin at 1:00pm. I can see at least one player is getting drafted. Let’s meet the players.
Jalen Thompson, S, Washington State – A three year starter and many scouts view him as a 2nd round pick if he would have stayed in school. The 6000, 190 pound defender was declared ineligible by the NCAA in June for taking an over the counter supplement. He has 190 tackles and six interceptions over his career.
Marcus Simms, WR, West Virginia – The 6000 wide out had 46 receptions for 699 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Mountaineers last season.
Shyheim Cullen, LB, Syracuse – The 6000, 224 pound defender started four games last year and racked up 31 tackles and one sack.
Bryant Perry, DB, Saint Francis – The lanky 6000 cornerback played one year at Saint Francis, but played two years at Mesabi Range College.
Devonaire Clarington, TE, Northland Community College – A four-star recruit out of high school stands at 6070 and 230 pounds, but was ruled academically ineligible to play for the Longhorns.
