17 year old arrested for killing Jackson State recruit Leroy Hawkins III

Leroy Hawkins was quite the football player and one of the few full scholarships that was give by Jackson State University. He was killed by a 17 year old who admitted to killing him.

The Dallas police department acted fast and have already made an arrest in connection of the murder of 17-year-old Leroy Hawkins, III. Hawkins III was expected to join Jackson State University on a full ride for football.

This young man is going to spend a long time in prison after admitting to killing JSU recruit Leroy Hawkins.

According to reports, homicide detectives arrested 18-year-old Kenaijae Keon Anderson.

Anderson was arrest and transported to Dallas Police Headquarters where detectives interview him. It was during the interview he confessed to killing Hawkins, a recent DeSoto High School grad.

Anderson is facing a charge of murder in the first degree. He is being held on a $200,000 bond.

This is horrible, I please ask that you pray for Mr. Hawkins family as well as the family of Mr. Anderson. It is never fair to watch a young child lose their lives to a senseless killing, but both families are likely going through a ton right now. Please keep them in your prayers.
