Gerald McCoy will decide between three teams, I think he should choose the…

Gerald McCoy could have a new team very soon. One team offered him 11 million per season already. He is ready to sign and finished taking visits.

Gerald McCoy is the hottest name right now in free agency. He recently went to three different teams to visit their facility and to me the decision is easy.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the free agent defensive tackle has wrapped up his visit to the Panthers and will take the weekend to decide, on which team he will select.

He has also visited the Browns and Ravens since being released by the Buccaneers and has made it very clear he wants to win.

The Panthers would be a fun destination because they could play the Buccaneers twice a year, but here is the thing that division is tough. They have the Saints and Falcons who are really solid. They would have to win the division and I honestly do not see the Panthers getting by Drew Brees and the Saints.

When you look at the Ravens, they did nothing to help Lamar Jackson. They will have a second-year quarterback with not a lot of help. They did have the number one defense and Gerald McCoy’s former coach is there, but they did lose some of their biggest players. Guys like Weddle, CJ Mosley, and Terrell Suggs is going to hurt.

Then you have the Cleveland Browns. The Browns have the most cap space of all the teams in the mix, meaning they can pay the most. The Browns also have a second-year quarterback but he has weapons. McCoy went to Cleveland first, which means they probably had the best offer from the Browns. No, the Browns have not won much, but if you look at what they are doing they are trying to build a Champion. Some guys want to win, but some will also think about turning an organization around. I think the Cleveland Browns is where McCoy ends.

If you put Gerald McCoy on the Browns and the Browns can somehow land Eric Berry who is still a free agent, and the Browns are immediate contenders. The Steelers lost their two best offensive playmakers, the Ravens we explained above and no one is taking the Bengals serious. That means the Browns should be a walk in the park to make the playoffs in 2019. I love the Browns to land Gerald McCoy, and I think it is the best decision for him.
