NFL Draft

NFL Draft: 5 Division 2 football players and 12 FCS players were drafted in 2019

Division 2 is growing and about every year 4 to 5 players have heard their name called on Draft Day. This should make small schoolers happy considering this year 5 of the 17 players drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft from Small Schools were from D2!

The NFL Draft has come and went, and NFL teams are still signing players, but this year it was impressive because 5 Division 2 players had their name called in the NFL Draft. A total of 17 players were drafted, 12 players from the FCS were also taken.

In 2018 there were 4 Division 2 players drafted, and in 2017 6 were drafted.
