Jets fire GM and VP of Player Personnel, Could Daniel Jeremiah be their next GM?
I may have to start putting my name in for General Manager jobs because by the sounds of it, guys like Mike Mayock and Daniel Jeremiah are getting tons of love.
Today the Jets fired General Manager Mike Maccagnan and their Vice President of Player Personnel Brian Heimerdinger. The crazy thing is Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network is under serious consideration for the GM job in New York. Another person to keep an eye on is Joe Douglas who is currently the Philadelphia Eagles VP of Player Personnel.
Right now, Adam Gase is serving as the teams interim GM while they search for a replacement. It is wild considering the Jets spent 125 million in free agency this year. I don’t know but Daniel Jeremiah could be a good fit. I would be shocked if he does in fact get the job, but what do I know?
