Did Patrick Mahomes just say he can throw a ball 100 yards?
There is no doubt that Patrick Mahomes has a cannon. We all have watched the kid throw rockets to Tyreek Hill, but in an interview with Pardon My Take podcast, Mahomes asked how far he thinks he could throw the ball in Mexico’s Azteca Stadium, being it is 7,280 feet above sea level, about 2,000 more feet than Broncos stadium in Denver. The Chiefs take on the Chargers this fall at Estadio Azteca in mid-November.
Mahomes said “Probably 100 (yards),”
The host kind of downplayed it like come on 100 yards, but Mahomes then said:
“Yeah, I got to like 80,83 yards in Denver and then you have to times it by two because it is like two miles above altitude, so I can handle the extra 20 yards.”
I doubt Mahomes can throw it 100 yards, but I am not good with doubting him. He has proven me wrong in the past, so I am going to agree with him on this one.
What do you think? Can he hit 100 yards?
