Buffalo Bills

Bills have a need at tight end bad, they need to call the Vikings

Bills need to get on the phone and offer up a draft pick for Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph before their division foes steal him.

The Buffalo Bills are in dire straights when it comes to the tight end position. Yesterday, in practice their free agent signing Tyler Kroft broke his foot and requires surgery. Add in the fact that the Buffalo Bills drafted two tight ends, which is a bonus, but only one of them is currently under contract. Dawson Knox still has not signed his rookie contract.

The Bills currently have Jason Croom, Dawson Knox (unsigned), Lee Smith (BLOCKER), Tommy Sweeney (BLOCKER) and Kroft on their roster they need to do something. I was sitting there thinking how can the Bills get a weapon at the tight end position. The Bills tight ends on paper look bad.  They need to get on the phone and call the Minnesota Vikings.

The Bills have cap space, and Kyle Rudolph is out there. He is 29 years old, and he has not missed a game since 2014. Add in the fact that he is coming off one of his best seasons in 2018, where he caught 64 passes for 634 yards and 4 touchdowns.  He would be a huge asset for the Bills and second year quarterback Josh Allen.

The thing that upsets me is the Vikings have already talked to the Patriots about a trade of Rudolph. Do not let your division rivals come in swoop a player from you Bills. This is the time for them to make a move, and the kid would be an immediate starter in Buffalo.
