NFL Draft Diamonds has learned that Preston Williams the huge target from Colorado State has two pre-Draft visits this week.
We are learning that Preston will visit the Raiders on Friday and the San Francisco 49ers tomorrow.
Williams transferred from Tennessee in 2016 after an off-season misdemeanor assault charge. He was forced to sit out the 2017 season before breaking out in 2018. In his final collegiate season, Williams caught 96 passes for 1,345 yards and 14 touchdowns.
That past charge prevented him from performing at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Preston Williams is a fascinating prospect and a top 50 pick to me as a talent evaluator, but many expect him to fall past the second of the draft, where he presents some value.
Williams is a huge target and if a team can land him after pick 100 they are getting the steal of the draft.
