New York Giants draft needs: 5 small schools who will help turn the Giants into contenders

Saquon Barkley the New York Giants running back tore it up year one winning Rookie of the Year. If the Giants can solidify their offensive line in the 2019 NFL Draft, they could be a team to watch out for.

Eli Manning is still the shot caller for the New York Giants, and while it is crazy to think they could lose with the talent around him, they were not very good. I feel the Giants will go quarterback early in the NFL Draft, but I am going to pick five small schoolers who can come in and fill huge holes for them. I feel they could use a quarterback but I am going to let them take a first round guy and ride with Eli and their back-up, offensive tackle, cornerback, safety, guard and outside linebacker.

Brandon Hitner, OT, Villanova – The big Glen Mills, Pennsylvania lineman is a monster on the offensive line. The Giants need to protect Eli and this kid can get it done. He is a huge player with smarts. He is 6050 and 300 pounds and will likely be a priority free agent.

Jalen Allison, CB, North Dakota State – The Bison have a stud in Allison and he can come in right now and help the Giants. Janoris Jenkins could be gone soon and if he is Allison is a gamer. He is considered a priority free agent, and would be a steal for the G-Men.

Mook Reynolds, S, Texas A&M Commerce – Mook is a hard hitter with tons of range. Reynolds could be a future replacement for Landon Collins if he does in fact leave in free agency. He will be an undrafted free agent and I think NFL teams will fall in love with him after his pro day.

Gavin Wiggins, OL, Youngstown State – The Giants like I said before need to protect Eli. Wiggins is a rode dog, and I love this kid. He will drive the defenders back yards off the ball. He too is considered a free agent and someone that could be signed after the draft.

Obi Iheoma, OLB, Northwestern State – Obinna is a TFL machine for the Demons. He is a player to keep an eye on this draft, because he can be a difference maker for any team who take a chance on him. He will likely be a priority free agent, but could be the most immediate impact player in the NFL Draft.
