Legal tampering period of Free Agency begins tomorrow at noon
The “legal tampering period” for NFL Free Agency begins tomorrow March 11, 2019 at noon.
That’s when NFL “clubs are permitted to contact, and enter into contract negotiations with, the certified agents of players who will become unrestricted free agents upon the expiration of their 2018 player contracts.”
So, the real frenzy for the 2019 NFL Free Agency period starts at 4 p.m. on March 13, 2019, and there is a huge expectation that a flurry of deals will be done promptly when the clock starts.
Expect tons of signings completed tomorrow but cannot become official until the 13th at 4pm.
