What is your favorite song to listen to prior to competing?

Message To The Label by Ace Hood.

How would your teammates describe you as both a player and person?

I think my teammates would agree that I’m a collected, determined, and hardworking person.

How do you and your teammates make practice and film study fun?

I think I had the funniest pass-game coordinator in college football so he took care of that part for us.

When you are studying film, what is your main focus to gain a competitive advantage?

I look for tendencies in individual players and the defensive backfield as a whole. I want to see if the guy across from me is passive or aggressive and figure out his temperament.

While at the Collegiate level, who has been the toughest player you have competed against?

I’ve gone against a few good corners in practice, they helped me make the games easier.

For what in your life do you feel most grateful?

The value my mother has placed on learning. That’s been huge for me so far.

If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one quality or ability, what would it be?

The ability to get a nights worth of sleep in just a few minutes. Imagine that.

What team do you pick in Madden? Why?

I don’t play video games but I would choose the Chargers, that’s been my favorite team since I was young.

What do you value most from your Collegiate experience?

Going to battle and coming out on top with the dogs I grinded with.

Who is your personal hero?

Every single person who’s been through unimaginable things and still managed to make their dreams come true.

Tell me something about yourself nobody would know.

I can spend hours and hours lost on YouTube.

How do you work on yourself?

I take constructive criticism (on and off the field) and try my hardest to make sure those same things can’t be said about me a week or a month or a year later. It’s not hard for me to look at myself in the mirror.

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?

Will Smith, I love the way he thinks and I’d have a lot of questions for him.

If you could have any superpower, what power would it be and why?

Teleportation, no more travel time or costs.

What would constitute a perfect day for you?

In a perfect day, I would be laughing from start to finish, I’d spend time with family and go to sleep knowing that I’m better than the day before.

Do you have a favorite route to run?

Love the post route.

Who inspired you as a young athlete?

Michael Irving.

What are the attributes that you bring to a professional football team?

Size, savviness, dependability and confidence.

Tell me about a time where you overcame a challenge.

More than any specific incident, I had a rough two or three-year stretch where I was getting suspended from school, failing classes, and everyone knew I was spiraling out of control. How I came out of that slump was realizing that only I was in control of my life and my decisions. I knew that every choice I made from then on would have serious implications on my future. I also set out to be a positive representation of my family and those who cared about me, from that moment my life changed.

What one skill would you like to improve on? What’s your plan for doing so?

The mental aspect of the game. I will study football more than ever and learn from anyone willing to share their knowledge.

If you could catch a TD from an NFL QB, past or present, who would it be and why?

Tom Brady, he’s the GOAT and why wouldn’t I want to have my name attached to his?

What current/former NFL player do you model your playing style after?

Brandon Marshall.

What is the best part of your hometown; Brooklyn, NY?

I live in Brooklyn now but I spent my childhood in Fort Lauderdale. The best part about it was the weather, you can go out and play ball almost any time of the year.

In 15 words or less, give me your pitch to an NFL GM on why you should be a part of their organization.

When called on, this team can count on me to make it happen every time.
