The Los Angeles Rams made an amazing run this past season, but they fell short in the Super Bowl loss to the Patriots 13-3. The Rams have a solid foundation and they are not far away from winning it all, but we found five players who can come in right now from small schools and help win the Lombardi Trophy. Those positions of need are Offensive Guard, Center, Outside Linebacker, Cornerback and Safety.

B.J. Autry, OG, Jacksonville State – The Rams need to protect Jared Goff, and this big ole boy right here will be a guy that can keep Goff in the upward position. The 6050, 340 pound offensive guard has good footwork and is a mauler in the middle of the field. He will give defensive linemen a fit. He will be a draft pick and more than likely a mid round guy, but the Rams could throw him in the starting lineup right away.

Vitas Hrynkiewicz, OC, Youngstown State – The 6040, 300 pound center from New Jersey, has a mean streak. Vitas started many games as a center for the Penguins and has tons of experience. The Rams could utilize him at multiple spots on the offensive line as well, because of his versatility. Right now he is considered a free agent but he would be a solid signing if he doe, in fact,t go undrafted.

Aaron Patrick, OLB, Eastern Kentucky – The 6040 pass rusher from EKU has been a monster for the Colonels defense. The Rams love to find diamonds in the rough at the pass rusher position and Aaron Patrick is the guy that will fit in the Wade Phillips defensive system. Remember the name, he will likely be a hot commodity as a priority free agent.

Domo Lemon, CB, Wofford – Domo Lemon is from a little town called Blythewood, South Carolina. Guys like Justin Bethel, Brandon Wilds and Vyncint Smith all came out of the small town and he could be the next. The 5100 defensive back would be a great fit with the Rams, and he can be a depth player to Nickell Robey-Coleman. Lemon is considered an undrafted free agent.

Kurron Ramsey, S, Alabama State When you think of a big time safety prospect you have to see the Alabama State safety. He stands at 6030 and runs like a deer. Ramsey is a hard hitter and is always around the ball. He has Kam Chancellor size and abilities. He could end up being a late round pick after his pro day.
