Steelers need to hurry up and cut ties with WR Antonio Brown
The Pittsburgh Steelers are slowly sinking like the Titanic right now and JuJu Smith Schuster said it right, they have more drama than the Kardashians. One of their biggest problems is Antonio Brown. The diva wide out has been a problem since the end of last season and now he is in the news again but this time for a domestic violence allegation.
The former Central Michigan wide out was reportedly involved in a domestic violence dispute back in January, but was not arrested. TMZ Sports is reporting that a rep for the Hollywood Police Department confirmed the domestic dispute but mentioned no arrests were made.
This is just a string of incidents that have occurred in the past year for Brown. Remember last year Brown was slapped with two lawsuits filed against him both in Florida. Brown reportedly threw furniture out of his condo from the 14th floor in April and the condo owner was seeking damages for the furniture because the condo was fully furnished. The second lawsuit was filed against Brown because he allegedly almost hit a 22-month old child when throwing the furniture. The boy’s father sued Brown saying his son has had signs of fear and anxiety since, and suffers from nightmares.
Brown has been a problem for the Steelers and the only way they are going to be able to get past these problems is to get rid of him. Will the Steelers receive tons of compensation probably not, but they can definitely clear up some space and get rid of one problem. Next up is Le’Veon Bell, if the Steelers get rid of both of them they will be a better team next year. I know it sounds crazy but this draft is stacked at WR and RB, so they can find their replacements.
