NFL Draft Diamonds Playoff Predictions

The Playoffs are here and today we will find out who will end up playing in the AFC and NFC Championship games.

The first game of the day is the Colts against the Chiefs in a snow battle. The game kicks off today at 4:35pm in Arrowhead. The Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes will face a very tough and gritty Cover 2 Colts defense. What is a Cover 2 defense? You may find out today because they are a bend don’t break type of defense. They would much rather give up a dink and dunk passing game to not allow the big touchdown. The Colts on the other hand are going against a pretty poor Chiefs defense, and the Colts have one thing going for them. Marlon Mack is running the ball extremely hard. Right now the Colts have been successful running the ball and if they can continue it today they will win against the Chiefs.

I see this game as a decent scoring game, but I think the Colts can pull off the upset. I believe the Colts win today and do it by the running game. Marlon Mack goes over 100 yards and the Colts get to the AFC Championship Game to face the winner of the Patriots and Chargers.

Dallas Cowboys will face the Los Angeles Rams today and it is pouring in LA. The field conditions are horrible and this too is going to be a ground and pound type of game. The Rams will not be able to throw the ball at will like they have all season. The Cowboys will benefit in this game, because they have a healthy Zeke Elliott. Right now Todd Gurley is not 100 percent, so I feel the Rams will not abuse him like the Cowboys will Zeke. The Cowboys run behind Zeke in the horrible rainy conditions and they win. Cowboys are headed to the NFC Championship game to face the winner of the Saints and Eagles.

Cowboys 35 – Rams 20

Day 2 of the Playoffs will start off with Tom Brady facing Philip Rivers. Rivers has never beat the Patriots with Tom Brady. He is 0-7 but tomorrow things change. Stephen A. Smith’s favorite player Hunter Henry tears up the Patriots the way Rob Gronkowski used to tear up teams. The Chargers win in a big fashion and the Chargers defense will face up against Andrew Luck in the AFC Championship Game.

Chargers 42 – Patriots 17

The final game of the night comes down to Nick Foles against Drew Brees and the Saints. While the Nick Foles trip has been fun, the Saints are way to powerful for the Eagles. Foles and the Eagles stay in the game but Drew Brees to Michael Thomas pull away in the later part of the game.

Saints – 28 – Eagles 16
