Did youplay any other sports growing up? If so, what were they?

Growing up I ran track throughout middle and high school.  I also played basketball from 6thgrade through 10th grade.

Who is thetoughest player you have competed against in College?

Thetoughest player I’ve competed against was TJ Edwards from Wisconsin Badgers.

Are youlistening to music before a game? If so, what?

Yes, my goto is “My moment” by DJ drama

Do you haveany superstitions before a game? If so, what are they?

I just prayby myself the night before the game and right before the game.  

Who is yourrole model & why

My fiancéis my role model. I admire her as my role model because she’s the puredefinition of a hustler and she’s very independent. Watching her makes me wantto do the same so that one day, I can let her relax while I hustle and be thatman she needs me to be.

You are aSport Leadership & Management major. What made you pursue that subject?

I’ve always wanted to coach kids and work my way up to the highest leveland also explore the business and culture of sport.

While inCollege, what has been your favorite & least favorite class?

Favoriteclass: Public Speaking

What madeyou choose Miami University?

I wanted toget away from home to see what other adventures there were outside ofTallahassee. When I went on my official visit to Miami, I felt as though theplayers and I were similar in some ways. The coaches also made me feelcomfortable and at home. That’s what made my decision easy.

Outside ofFootball, what has been your favorite experience while in College?

I’m a verydown to earth, quiet guy. I play video games when I don’t have anything to do. Idid go to the Recreation center at Miami with a few freshmen a few times tokeep myself active. I often went to the pool and played pool basketball withthem. It was a great experience and I built great friendships from that.

Growing up,who was your favorite NFL Team & NFL player, & why?

My favoriteNFL team was and still is the Dallas Cowboys. My granddad was a big fan and Iused to watch games with him all the time when I was younger. As I watched themcoming up, I grew a to be a fan also.

If youcould be in any movie of your choice, what would it be & what characterwould you play?

I wouldwant to be in the movie Friday after Next. I would want to play the characterof Mike Epps, “DaDa”.

If youcould have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who are they?

KobeBryant, Floyd Mayweather, and Barack Obama

If youcould meet any historical figure, who would you choose & why?

JesusChrist, because that’s whom I believe in and I would want to know what myfuture holds.

Who is yourfavorite superhero & why?

My favoritesuperhero is Flash because he is able to run, move and think extremelyfast. 

What isyour definition of hard work?

Mydefinition of hard work is how much effort and willingness you put intosomething.

What is themost unexpected lesson you learned while in College?

Anunexpected lesson I learned while attending college was learning how to be agreat father from miles away.

What issomething you wish you could go back & tell yourself as a High SchoolFreshman?

As a highschool freshman, I would have told myself, do not procrastinate. Word to myselfwould be to stop making excuses for why you can’t get something done and tostart focusing on all the reasons why you must make it happen.

Why do youwear #3?

I chose to wear the #3 because one of my favorite college players whoattended Alabama, Trent Richardson, wore #3. He also had dreads and he remindedme of myself in a way. I liked the way he ran the ball and how fast he was. Eventhough he was bigger than me, I still wanted to be like him.

What is thebest part of your hometown, Tallahassee, FL?

The bestpart of my hometown, Tallahassee, FL, is the weather. We experience all fourseasons of weather without the snow.

Who do youchoose: Jordan, LeBron, Steph or Kobe? Why?

I’ve alwaysbeen a Kobe fan because he just have that killer instinct and he show up inclutch moments.

Are you aPS4 or Xbox One guy? What games are you playing right now?

I’m an XboxOne guy. I play Madden and 2K

What hasbeen your most memorable moment as a student-athlete?

The most memorable moment was the bowl game experience. We started out 0-6 andthen went on a 6-game winning streak, becoming bowl eligible and playingMississippi State in the St. Petersburg bowl.

If youcould have three wishes granted, what would they be?

To make itinto the NFL, bring my dead family members back to life, and to be rich andnever go broke again.

What isyour hidden talent?

I don’treally have a talent. I’d say that playing football and being an all aroundgreat athlete is my talent.

If there isa book written about Kenny Young, what is the title?

My life: overcomingobstacles

What arethree things on your “Bucket List?”

I would liketo travel the world, go sky diving, and own my own businesses.

Are youbinge watching anything right now?

I do notbinge watch anything right now.

If you hadone free hour each day, how would you choose to use it?

I wouldlove to take my daughter out and let her enjoy herself without getting fussedat.

If youcould run over any NFL LB, past or present, who would it be & why?

Ray Lewis,because he was a linebacker who had something to prove and he came witheverything he had. You were going to feel him and it isn’t to many people thatI remember who ran him over.

Humble,fearless, and hard-working

What isyour inspiration?

Myinspiration is my Fiancé and our daughter. They are my everyday motivation.Without them, I don’t think I would have come this far.

I compareto myself to Tarik Cohen.
