More Quick than fast while separating from Corner Backs.
Santiago can pick up chucks of yardage by breaking tackles with his good size and long arms to keep defenders away.
Player Summary :
Good height , long arms and good hand size allow him to win jump balls and high point the football. Has the frame to add some muscle. Has the potential to develop into a quality possession receiver if he adds some muscle, works on speed, and improves his ability to win against speedy defensive backs.
Good at adjusting to the ball and contorting his body in the air to make tough catches.Speed isn’t special, but it’s enough to make defensive backs respect his ability to get over the top of the defense. If given a lane, he can break off chunks of yardage after the catch with good power and ling arms to keep defenders away. Gives solid effort as a blocker and has the size to make this a strength of his game with improved technique. Good consistent hands that allows him to hold on to contested passes. Shows good ability to high-point the ball and make contested catches in traffic. An intelligent player who will interview very well during the pre-draft process.
Negatives
Plays inconsistently vs. Speedy Cornerbacks. The timing of his routes when making speed cuts on deeper balls is adequate. Good separation quickness vs press using his long arms and upper body strength to move cornerbacks from his route stem.  He can pick up chucks of yardage after the catch when given space, but he struggles to shake defensive backs if he doesn’t haul in the pass with immediate room to run.
Overall :
Santiago will have opportunities to play pro football. Good coaching can improve his already solid set of skills. His size, long arms , and ability to make contested catches in traffic. Uses his size and strength to create separation on deeper routes and extends his long arms to haul in deep balls. Played a big role in Emory + Henry  offense, featuring a lot of screens, comebacks and the quick passing game.
Will have scouts coming to see him at his pro day.
