What is your name?

  • Dwayne Brown Jr.

Where do you play College Football?

  • Bethune-Cookman University.

What position do you play?

  • OC/OG.

What is your height/weight?

  • 6’3″ 325.

Did you play any other sports growing up? If so, what were they?

  • I played basketball and threw shot put.

Who is the toughest player you have competed against in College?

  • That’s really hard I’ve played some very good competition but if i had to chose it would be LT Walton from the Steelers or Malik McDowell.

Are you listening to music before a game? If so, what?

  • Meek Mill, NBA youngboy or lil boosie.

Who is your role model & why?

  • I would say my mom she was a single parent but she always made everything work.

In 2015 you were diagnosed with State 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. How did going through that time in your life make you a stronger man?

  • I would say i guess you never know how strong you really are until something like that happens. I honestly thankful for everything I went through with the cancer it made me a better man and person, I appreciate even the little things so much.

While in College, what has been your favorite & least favorite class?

  • My least favorite class has been chemistry, My favorite class has been Anatomy.

What made you choose Bethune-Cookman University?

  • It is a historic university that has had a great chance to win a lot of games.

Outside of Football, what has been your favorite experience while in College?

  • Im somebody who really likes school so me coming to cookman allowed me to choose any major that I wanted. So ive had alot of class with some of the classes i’ve been able to take.

Growing up, who was your favorite NFL Team & NFL player, & why?

  • My favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers, I didn’t have a favorite player I liked the whole team.

If you could be in any movie of your choice, what would it be & what character would you play?

  • I would want to be Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) in The Equalizer, I just really like the movie.

If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who are they?

  1. Tupac.
  2. President Obama.
  3. Martin Luther King.

If you could meet any historical figure, who would you choose & why?

  • Martin Luther King, because he changed the world forever

What is the most unexpected lesson you learned while in College?

  • That college sports are business and you have to learn that quickly.

What is something you wish you could go back & tell yourself as a High School Freshman?

  • Don’t chase shiny buildings find where your wanted.

Why do you wear #57?

  • At my highschool some of the best lineman to ever play there wore the number and senior year I wore it kind of in tribute and I liked the number so i’ve kept it ever since.

What is the best part of your hometown, Indianapolis, IN?

  • My family and the different types of food.

Who do you choose: Jordan, LeBron, Steph or Kobe? Why?

  • LeBron is the GOAT he can do everything on the basketball court.

Are you a PS4 or Xbox One guy? What games are you playing right now?

  • Xbox One: Madden, Call of Duty, Fortnite.

What has been your most memorable moment as a student-athlete?

  • Beating North Carolina Central on a Hail Mary or coming back from down 17 in the Florida Classic.

If you could have three wishes granted, what would they be?

  1. Cure Cancer.
  2. End world poverty.
  3. Be successful in life.

What is your hidden talent?

  • I would say baking.

If there is a book written about Dwayne Brown Jr., what is the title?

  • “Adversity.”

What are three things on your “Bucket List?”

  • Visit every country.
  • Go to every major league championship game.

If you had one free hour each day, how would you choose to use it?

  • Probably play the game.

If you could pancake block any NFL D-Lineman, past or present, who would it be & why?

  • Reggie White, John Randle etc because they are known as some of the best to ever do it.

What are three words to give NFL scouts that define Dwayne Brown Jr.?

  1. Smart.
  2. Instinctive.
  3. Dedicated.

What is your inspiration?

  • Being able to provide for my family.

What current/former NFL player do you compare yourself to?

  • Zack Martin and David Decastro.
