Thursday Night Football’s Showdown between the Chargers and Chiefs excites me

Justin Jackson will be the difference maker tomorrow night against the Chiefs

This Thursday Night, the Los Angeles Chargers will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in a showdown at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs have been red hot this season and while everyone may jump on the Chiefs train for tomorrow night I like what the Chargers offense can do.

Both Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler are expected to be out against the Chiefs but they have a rookie that really fires me up. Running back Justin Jackson looks the part and he will be a huge pick up in Fantasy Football this week. The Chiefs defense has had some major ups and downs this year. Their passing defense is not the greatest, but Orlando Scandrick has did a great job replacing Marcus Peters.

The Chargers though have a passing attack led by Keenan Allen that makes me smile. He is one of the most underrated wide receivers in the NFL. Allen is a big-time player who can tear up a secondary. The Chargers defense is biting in the secondary too. Rookie Derwin James is my early pick for defensive rookie of the year and safety Desmond King is a weapon in the return game.

This game is going to be a shoot-out. I expect the Chargers to get the win but before betting on this one be sure to go here for more insight. The odds on this game could easily fluctuate so check a few sportsbooks before committing.

I honestly am going out on the limb here picking the Chargers to beat the Chiefs by a field goal in overtime. Both teams will struggle to run the ball, but the rookie Jackson will be the key difference maker.
