• 6’1” 250lbs

Did you play any other sports growing up? If so, what were they?

• Powerlifting, track and field

Who is the toughest player you have competed against in College?

• Kevin Bowen (ECU).

Are you listening to music before a game? If so, what?

• Normally I start with gospel makes me feel at peace, but closer to game time its more Hip-Hop.

Do you have any superstitions before a game? If so, what are they?

• I HAVE to shower before the game whether it be before we leave hotel on away games or right before we report to fieldhouse. Also, I must pray at both goal posts and 50-yard line before each game or I just don’t feel right.

Who is your role model & why?

• My father. My dad sacrifices so much to make sure that my siblings and I have whatever we need or want. He’s a selfless man and if I can be half the man he is I will be a great man.

While in College, what has been your favorite & least favorite class?

• Favorite – Accounting 1.
• Least – University Chemistry.

Outside of Football, what has been your favorite experience while in College?

• Becoming a Brother of The Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.

Growing up, who was your favorite NFL Team & NFL player, & why?

• Dallas Cowboys and DeMarcus Ware. You can’t be a true Cowboys Fan without believing Demarcus Ware is, was and will always be the best.

If you could be in any movie of your choice, what would it be & what character would you play?

• Thor and Thor.

If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who are they?

1. Dr. Martin Luther King.
2. Barack Obama.
3. Thurgood Marshall.

If you could meet any historical figure, who would you choose & why?

• Barack Obama, who wouldn’t want to meet the great #44!

Who is your favorite superhero & why?

• Thor, he’s strong and got a hammer he can throw that’ll come back to him.

What is your definition of hard work?

• Consistently pushing yourself to your limit day in and day out, not just occasionally.

What is the most unexpected lesson you learned while in College?

• I would fall for an Arkansas girl! LOL.

What is something you wish you could go back & tell yourself as a High School Freshman?

• Enjoy the little things and push yourself harder.

Why do you wear #94?

• I had a great senior season wearing #94 in high school, so I stuck with it. Plus, Ware wore it.

What is the best part of your hometown, Marshall, TX?

• The Friday Night Lights. Marshall is a football town, so it means a lot for the community to be behind you.

Who do you choose, Jordan, LeBron or Kobe? Why?

• LeBron, he has been the best NBA player I’ve ever seen, and he goes over and beyond to give back to society.

Are you a PS4 or Xbox One guy? What games are you playing right now?

• I don’t play video games regularly but when I do its only Madden on PS4.

What has been your most memorable moment as a student-athlete?

• Homecoming my sophomore year, offense turned over the ball I told them I would get the ball back for them and that same series I got my first collegiate safety.

If you could have three wishes granted, what would they be?

1. To be wealthy.
2. Own the biggest cattle ranch in TX.
3. Make it to the NFL.

What is your hidden talent?

• I can sing but you’ll never hear me sing seriously outside of church.

If there is a book written about Anthony Washington, what is the title?

• “The Chosen One!” God has blessed me, and he continuously puts me in good situations.

What are three things on your “Bucket List?”

1. Sky dive.
2. Have a big family.
3. Go to South America.

Are you binge watching anything on Netflix or Hulu right now?

• Scandal – Netflix.

If you had one free hour each day, how would you choose to use it?

• Call loved ones back home I’m terrible when it comes to calling and checking in on people.

If you could sack any NFL QB, past or present, who would it be & why?

• Pat Mahomes, he torched our defense when I was younger.

What are the goals for 2018, both individually & for the Southern Arkansas football team?

• Be the best I can be.
• Become an All American.
• Win every game.
• Be the best team we can be.

If you could give NFL scouts three words to describe the type of man they are getting in Anthony Washington, what would they be?

1. Consistent.
2. Determined.
3. Fearless.

What inspires you?

• My younger brothers so I strive to be the best I can be, younger brothers always want to be better than big brother so if I’m working hard to be successful they will ultimately be successful or better than me if they are trying to pass me up.
