Draft Diamond Report

Bishop is a small school LB that explodes off the edge.

Although the 2018 year has not gone as planned for a young Union D Bishop has been hustling making plays.  Still on his way to a 60 plus tackle season & getting closer to a sack every week.

Amazing 1st step burst off the line to get i the backfield and make big plays. Ability to dissect plays effectively shoot the gap for a loss of yardage. Plays the run well good tackling technique & takes good angels to the ball carrier.  Although he plays as a DE in College he is undersized to be a edgerusher as a pro. He shows a powerful punch to go through OT’s and good timing getting his arms up to interrupt plays. On the couple turnovers i watched he had explosive yards after the takeaway. This all leads me to believe he would be an ideal OLB having played both right & left end positions with success he has the speed to cover well could be a prime candidate as a Sam or Will LB.

Could be a star on ST plays with a chip on his shoulder  and enjoys the physicality of the game. He has a relentless passion for the game of football that goes without question. He is a team first type of guy when i was speaking to him about his stats he was concerned more about his team struggling than his individual stats. A class act who i believe his hard work will pay dividends in his future career in football.  Been putting in the time both in the weight & film room learn more about him in the draft diamonds interview. As we continue to follow this talented young mans promising career.
