So far there has only been 1 penalty for leading with a helmet in 14 games

The preseason was rough when it came to late hits.  The NFL was calling everything, they did not slow down.  So far through 14 games only one penalty was called for a helmet penalty and that came in the Chiefs game.

According to NFL.com, through 14 regular season games, with two games playing tonight, referees penalized one player for a use of helmet foul.

Ron Parker the safety of the Chiefs was flagged for a hit on Chargers RB Austin Ekler in the first quarter of Sunday’s game. While there has only been one ejections, Bengals safety Shawn Williams was ejected for unnecessary roughness, not the helmet rule. We will see how they do tonight on Monday Night Football, but right now I cannot complain about their officiating.
