Rams offered 1st & 3rd round picks for Khalil Mack; Gruden said Mack didn’t want to be in Oakland
Khalil Mack is a Chicago Bear and last night he dogged the Packers. The Raiders had an offer in place where they would have received 1st and 3rd round picks from the Rams in exchange for their pass rusher. The problem was the Bears offered good picks and the Raiders felt the Rams would have a better record than the Bears.
Raiders ended up landing two 1sts for Mack, but today Gruden was asked about Mack and his situation and he said this…..
“Obviously, Khalil Mack didn’t want to be here.”

It sounds like Gruden is telling his fanbase that Mack did not want to be in town, but that is not the case. He just felt he outplayed his contract, and wanted to be paid better. At the end of the day, the Raiders better hope their players stand up today because losing Mack hurt.
