Bold Predictions for the upcoming NFL season

There are tons of things to predict when you are talking about the NFL, but today I want to write a few bold predictions down on paper, for my readers.  I love making bold predictions and a few years back I predicted that Lorenzo Alexander would have 10 plus sacks, I was laughed at and he surpassed 10.  So we are going to make some bold predictions today for this upcoming season.

10.) Jacksonville Jaguars Super Bowl run comes up miserably short.  They do not make the playoffs this year.  The Jaguars defense is solid but suspensions and stupid penalties cost them games.  The Jaguars also realize that Blake Bortles is not their Franchise QB.

9.) Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts rebound and dominate their division.  Both Andrew Luck and Deshawn Watson are back. Both the Colts and Texans make the playoffs after squeezing past the Jaguars.  Watson takes the Texans deep in the playoffs.

8.) Browns may not make the playoffs this season, but they easily win 7 games.  Tyrod Taylor and the Browns get rolling early and they have a solid 7 game win season.  Josh Gordon rebounds well and comes close to 1000 yards receiving.

7.) Buccaneers find out in the first three games that Jameis is suspended they maybe a better team without him.  Ryan Fitzpatrick is a veteran quarterback and does a good job in the three games that Jameis is suspended. When Jameis comes back the team struggles, and the team returns to Fitz-Magic!

6.) Josh Allen leads all rookie quarterbacks in passing yardage and touchdowns.  The former Wyoming gunslinger puts up solid numbers in his first year. While the Bills do not start him to begin the season, the Wyoming gunslinger takes over the starting role and does not look back.

5.) Seattle Seahawks end up with the first pick in the NFL draft.  The Seahawks have a horrible season, their offensive line is depleted and their defense is not good anymore.  They trade Earl Thomas before the season and they get scorched on defense. Russell Wilson gets banged up and misses games for the first time eve.

4.) Both Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott rebound this year, and barely make the playoffs.  Zeke goes for over 1500 and Dak has a solid season with Allen Hurns and Tavon Austin having solid seasons.

3.) More players are hurt this season than ever before. Injuries hurt almost every team this year. Players begin to play softer than normal because they do not want to get hurt and end up getting hurt worse.

2.) Fifteen games plus will be lost this season due to new penalties.  One game will determine the playoffs and it will be a really bad call.  That game will be the reason the NFL has to review the new hitting rules.  The rules make the game pretty bad this season.

1.) Over 40 players will be ejected this season, and the NFL will collect three times the amount of money they have in the past several years in fines.  The NFL will make tons of money on fines this year, and it will be a major issues moving forward. With 2020 coming up soon, the NFL and Players Union will start looking at holding out of the CBA unless the owners change the rules.
