I’ve had the opp to play a lot of good football players. Malcom Brown (University of Texas, New England Patriots), Maliek Collins (Nebraska, Dallas Cowboys), Kenny Clark (UCLA, Green Bay Packers) & Malik McDowell (Michigan State, Seattle Seahawks).
Are you listening to music before a game? If so, what?
I definitely listen to music, a lot of Drake. On the bus ride, in the locker room I enjoy spending time with the rest of the O-Line & going over the game-plan.
Do you have any superstitions before a game? If so, what are they?
I’m actually kind of superstitious. I try to avoid them before the game. I try to forget them so it doesn’t distract me before a game. I like to start the day early. Shower, stretch for a long time, drink a lot of PowerAde.
Who is your role model & why?
My mother. Strong woman. Sacrificed a lot for me & my siblings. She worked hard for us, I aspire to be that giving & caring. She is my motivation.
While in College, what was your favorite & least favorite class?
I’m an Economics major. Econ classes are ok. Most favorite class was World Religions.

Meeting some amazing people here in Utah. The culture is very different, but these people have made me feel at home. Relationships I have made at BYU have made it worthwhile.

The Dallas Cowboys. Growing up in Allen, TX they will always be my favorite team. My favorite player was DeMarcus Ware. Now my favorite player is Tyron Smith.

Kobe Bryant, Drake.
If you could meet any historical figure, who would you choose & why?
Martin Luther King Jr.

Black Panther & Spider-Man.

When you have to sacrifice, you would rather be doing for something else instead of trying to get to your ultimate goal.
What is the most unexpected lesson you learned while in College?
I thought I was on top of the World coming in & being a starter. Sometimes things do not go your way & sometimes people are not who you think they are. I learned that I have to get serious. Make sure I was doing everything right for myself. Appreciate the real people in your life.
Which would you prefer, three (3) wishes over five (5) years or one (1) wish right now?
3 wishes over five years. I will still be young in 5 years, I can wait.
What is something you wish you could go back & tell yourself as a High School Freshman?
Do not count yourself out. Keep working hard & being persistent. Be mentally strong to do not listen to doubters. Believe in yourself to infinity. The sky is the limit. Be 100% sold on yourself.
