My dad. He showed me how to work hard and to be tough

Mrs. Acosta, Grand Bay, AL middle school

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Boxing, baseball, basketball

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Trent Richardson

Who is the most underrated player on your team?

Me

What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?

ACDC – TNT

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Walter Payton, because he played with heart

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Being put on administrative suspension my second semester in college. I returned the next semester and applied myself, worked harder and brought my grades up so that I could stay in college and graduate.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Listen to music, think of how far I have come and where I come from and think of my family

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

My first career start on special teams and I made back to back solo tackles on kickoff

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

Spent time with the kids at local schools, reading books, playing games with them and getting involved in the community. Someday I would like to be like the NFL players I watched growing up who give so much back to their communities

Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?

Green Bay Packers

Walter Payton, Muhammad Ali, Thomas Edison
