If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Older player but I like to compare my game to Emmitt Smith. I am a running back who is a complete back. I’m a patient runner with a explosive burst through holes. Strong in the lower body to break tackles. Able to make defenders miss. I have good hands and ability to run routes and create separation from defenders. I am a solid blocker who has not giving up many sacks in my career. I take care of the ball only 4 lost fumbles in my career.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

The biggest obstacle in my life would be growing up where I’m from. It’s a very rough town and a lot of distractions. Adversity is thrown at you everyday. You have to have the right people around you all the time or you can make one decision and that’s it. I would have to say coming up in the household that I was in is what got me through. My parents prepared me every step of the way. I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for my parents and growing up the way I did in that city. Love it to death  it things have to change there.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I just pray, listen to my music and go give it all I got.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

My most memorable play in college would be my freshman year against Iowa state. Was kind of my coming out Party that game. I just consistently help put my team in situations to win even in a close lose. It’s a lot of plays that game I could think but can’t just pick one. I found out a lot about myself as a young player.

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

The coolest thing I did off the field for someone else I would say is Victory Day. We are partnered up with a kid in the Toledo Area who has a disability. We get to show them around the facility and they get to run out on the field hearing their name called. They go through different drills. We do a lil scrimmage where the players give them a in game experience by trying  to tackle them and they score every-time. To see them smile and do the celebration dance was just heart warming. At the end of it all they get medals and we give them and there families tickets to the first game.

Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?

The New England Patriots was even coming from close to Pittsburgh I got so much crap but as a young boy watching football. I watched hem because of another childhood  role model in Ty Law. He comes from the same town and to see him be so dominate on a great team winning I just admired them so much. As I got older and understanding football more and he culture they have was truly amazing.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

The three people I would have dinner with would be 2 Pac, Kobe Bryant and Barack Obama’s. Tom Brady as an alternate if somebody can’t make it that’s my guy!
