Who is your role model, and why?

My parents, they taught me so much about everything I know. Teaching me the real goals in life.

Who was your favorite teacher?

Jacqui Slinger, she really wants to see people succeed in life.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I played football, basketball & I ran track.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

That’s a tough question, it’s hard to pick just one specific player. I played against a lot of very good players in my career.

Who is the most underrated player on your team?

Either Thaddeus Phillips or our kicker Jordan Watkins. Thad sacrifices a lot and Jordan is always making those clutch kicks or good punts for us.

What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?

Pretty much anything from The Weeknd. I don’t need crazy rock or rap to fire me up. I listen to things I can vibe to and just be concentrated.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Definitely Jarvis Landry. When we play we have the same fire & drive. Just having that mindset that you’re the best on the field & having faith in your own abilities.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Either when I broke my wrist the 6th game of my senior year or When I got a concussion and broke my ribs my freshmen year. I’ve been blessed to overcome these obstacles, and grow by having faith and waiting on my mental and physical progress. I’m always training to be the best.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I usually take a shower before the games. Listen to music, And I pray right before the national anthem.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

My last play at our final home game. When I got taken out of the game. Just walking off the field for the last time, Knowing all the memories that I had and everything that I worked for.

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

Probably being apart of Samaritan’s feet the last few years. Help washing and changing shoes for children and donating for the cause.

Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?

The Miami Dolphins

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

The Weeknd, LeBron james & Jarvis Landry
