Where are you from?
Who is your role model, and why?
My parents – they raised me to who I am today and I take a lot of pride in that. They’ve always been there for me no matter what, and they push me to be the best person I can be. I work hard every single day because of them and I wouldn’t be in the position I’m in right now if it weren’t for them.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
Jesse Addo, he was an extremely fast and physical outside backer from St. Thomas. We played them in the quarterfinals my junior year at their place, and I felt like he was in on every play.
Who is the most underrated player on your team?
Mitch Gerhartz – he was our sophomore backup running back this year who I split most of the carries with. He took over when I missed a few games due to injury and played very well. He didn’t receive as much recognition as he should have, but he’s only a sophomore so I’m excited to see him play the next two years.
What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?
Throw It Up by Lil Jon was what we played before running out of the tunnel before every game
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
I would say like a Toby Gerhart or Derek Watt. I am a hard, physical runner, can catch passes out of the backfield, and also lead block through the hole. My work ethic and IQ also resemble these players.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
Tearing my ACL my sophomore year against Whitewater in the quarterfinal game. It was the first major injury I’ve had and it was during the second quarter, sidelining me for the remainder of the game. I had all offseason to rehab and get ready for the next season. Getting back physically was definitely tough, but I think it was more mental than anything. With the help and support from friends and family, our trainers, and the motivation to get back by next season, I was able to overcome that injury.

Eat the same meal, contrast shower, listen to the same playlist
What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?
Helped out with an event called Honor Flight, where veterans fly from Oshkosh to Washington D.C. for the day. We are there in the morning helping and assisting them and their luggage onto the plane as well as when they get back later in the day. It was really cool to see how excited they were and all the friends and family who came to support them.
