Who is your role model, and why?

My role model is my mom. My whole life I have seen her face adversity and come out stronger with her head held high. I love her to death, she has truly taught me what hard work, dedication, and perseverance is.

Who was your favorite teacher?

My favorite teacher was one of my high school football coaches, John Meier.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Growing up I played both football and basketball

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

The toughest players I face are in practice. NAU is DBU of the FCS so every day I went to practice I had to battle with the best secondary in the country.

Who is the most underrated player on your team?

The most underrated players on our team is our secondary. They continue to make plays week in and week out, and everyday they come to practice they battle against the best wideouts in the nation and make us work. Nothing but playmakers in that group!

What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?

The one song that would fire me up before the biggest game of my life is Forever by Drake, or Dreams and Nightmares intro by meek mill

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

If I could compare my game to an NFL player I would say Julio Jones. He is a big physical receiver that attacks the ball and knows how to use his body extremely well. He is also a good route runner and can create mismatches for defenses by playing in the slot.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

I am currently going through a major obstacle right now. I got hurt and had to get surgery and it ended my senior campaign short. The way that I am getting through this is the way that I have gotten through every obstacle in my life. Keep my head down, keep praying, and keep working. Everyone that has ever become legendary had to face and overcome obstacles. One day I’ll look back and be happy I got hurt, because of the person it transformed me into.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Before every game I always take a knee and say a prayer. I have to give thanks to God every time I step on the field, because it is truly a blessing to be able to play this game.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

The most memorable play of my collegiate career was my first touchdown in the dome. There is nothing like being a true freshman scoring in front of thousands of fans.

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

The coolest thing that I have done off the field is work with youth at annual NAU football camps. It is amazing being able to share knowledge about both life and football.

Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?

My favorite NFL team growing up was the Philadelphia Eagles.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

If I could have dinner with any three people I would choose LeBron James, Randy Moss, and Rihanna of course.
