Breaking: Former Gopher RB David Cobb will work out with #Falcons in morning
David Cobb has been busy the last couple days. The former Tennessee Titans draft pick has had workouts with the Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings. We are learning that David Cobb will be working out with the Falcons in the morning.
Cobb was a monster in college, and punished defenders trying to tackle him. Cobb was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He has also been a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears.
He finished his senior season with 1,626 yards on 314 carries with 13 touchdowns. With Devonta Freeman suffering a concussion the Falcons could be looking to add a back for the preseason.
