Bears first round pick drives his 1997 Toyota to his first day on the job

Mitch Trubisky shows up to work in his amazing work mobile

Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky made a deal back in March with GM Ryan Pace that if the Bears drafted him he had to show up to work at Halas Hall driving his 1997 Toyota Camry. The vehicle was given to him by his grandmother, and the UNC quarterback followed through on his end of the deal.

Trubisky showed up in his 1997 Camry!! I wonder if Toyota will use this as a marketing ploy?  I would be calling Toyota if I was Trubisky’s marketing guy. I would be asking for the 2017 version!!

The Bears traded several draft picks to the San Francisco 49ers to move up one spot to snag Trubisky second overall.
