104 underclassmen declared and 28 were not drafted
The NFL has been trying to eliminate the list of players coming out of college early because they feel it is bad for the players.
This year’s draft had 95 players with “special eligibility” and nine more who left their college teams early after graduating, and now the count stands at 28 undrafted underclassmen.
The crazy thing is that 65 of the underclassment were drafted in the top 5 rounds.
