Trevin Huff

What is your Height/Weight? 

6’4″ 305

What is your position? 

OG, OT

Where do you play college football? 

Bethune-Cookman University 

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

Visiting an elementary school to read to kids and share life experiences or sign up for the be the match bone marrow registry  

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Quantitative methods

Where are you from? 

I have lived multiple places. I would say I’m from Tallahassee Florida 

Who is your role model, and why? 

My parents, because I know them the best and I know they are someone it would be great to follow after. 

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

I played basketball my whole life until college. Then threw shot put and was on the weightlifting team in high school 

Did you play any other positions in football? 

I’ve played every position on the offensive line. I also played some Defensive line in high school. 

At your position, what separates you from others? 

My football IQ, passion and experience from my 40 plus starts in college.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

When I am studying film, I look for who I am going to be playing against. Then pickup any pre-snap giveaways he has or the entire defense has, for blitz etc. Then I want to pickup that players favorite pass rush moves and tendencies. For example, his favorite pass rush move on 3rd and long.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

I have played a good amount of good players, it’s hard to choose.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

My favorite offensive lineman to watch is Tyron Smith. Being smart and aggressive is what’s comparable but I just hope to be as good as him in everything else. 

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

I think my biggest obstacle was football itself. I went from not being very good and wanting to quit when I was younger. To being where I am now with hard work and dedication  

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

No I don’t think so. Just a zone I get myself in before games. 

What is your biggest strength? 

Reliability 

What is your biggest weakness? 

Still working on technique 

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I hate to lose and love to compete. I know I am a reliable guy who will show up early and get his job done. I am also a very quick learner. I’ll bring passion and a competitive attitude every day

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

I liked Michael Vick and Ray Lewis 

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Barrack Obama, Michael Jordan and Steve Harvey 

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

I would put away a good amount first. The first big item would be a car for my mom.
