NFL Draft Diamonds Bold Predictions: Draft Day Edition

Joe Mixon is a very good back if you can look beyond his past.

NFL Draft Diamonds Bold Predictions:

Tonight the NFL Draft, will be interesting, and I would not be shocked if there are several moves Day 1.

I wanted to come on and post my Bold Predictions tonight for the NFL Draft. Enough talking let’s do this.

#1 – The Cleveland Browns will trade in the top 5. I keep hearing the Tennessee Titans are the most likely and willing team to trade out right now.  I would not be shocked that Mitchell Trubisky will be their future signal caller.  The Browns love him, and right now other teams have made the Browns hit the panic button.  Hopefully they can pull it together.  After the story broke that the Browns had information leak that they were mixed on Trubisky and Garrett, teams began cranking up the fake news. Teams like Buffalo, the Jets, and 49ers all the sudden had interest in Trubisky.  While they may have some interest, they are trying to lure the Browns to make a huge draft day trade.  Remember this, the Browns have what every team wants.  DRAFT PICKS!!! I would not be shocked to see the Browns trade up to number 2 with the 49ers, this is the only way the Browns can guarantee they get both their guys.  The Browns have let the cat out the bag, they need to learn from the Patriots.  They do not talk about their draft plans with media……

#2 – Dalvin Cook will be a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. I keep seeing Cook fall down draft boards.  Several people say that Cook could fall out the first round, but I cannot see the Bucs passing on a local kid, who has ties to their quarterback. You better believe that Jameis Winston is in the ear of Jason Licht.  Winston will mentor Cook if he has too, I can see this happening.

#3 – Do not be surprised if four, YES FOUR running backs are drafted in the first round. I keep hearing Leonard Fournette to Jaguars, Christian McCaffrey to Panthers, Dalvin Cook to Buccaneers and Packers taking a running back. I have heard Alvin Kamara and Joe Mixon, but I think the fourth is Mixon.  I honestly believe that the Packers can draft a guy like Mixon and things will be quiet.  The fans in Green Bay are everywhere, and one way to keep the media attention down, is put him in a place where media cannot attack them.  Green Bay is a place that is quiet, and if you attack a Packers player, you get blasted from all angles.  For that I say Mixon in the first round to Packers

#4 – I keep hearing Jonathan Allen and Malik Hooker could fall out the top 10. Some say Reuben Foster as well, but I cannot see the Bengals passing on Foster.  Both Allen and Hooker have medical issues, and both could fall out the top 10 picks.

#5 – Haason Reddick in the top 15, that is the prediction here folks. The kid has annihilated his pre-draft process.  People love him. I hear the Saints love him a lot. They also love T.J. Watt.  Could they get both?

#6 – Patrick Mahomes is drafted before Deshaun Watson. Watson is a guy that I really like, and I definitely like him more than Mahomes, but teams are impressed with Mahomes rifle.  Several teams in the mid teams like him.

#7 – Ohio State and Alabama will have 7 players total drafted in the first round. With Gareon Conley out of the first round more than likely this would have been 8.
